11 March 2025
Let's just say battery life won't be among this phone's main selling points.

They could have made it smaller with 6.2 or 6.3 inch screen with weight nearly 140 ~ 150g it would be a cool compact phone

          lol lmao even

What's with Samsung apple and Google dragging their feet with new tech? Silicon carbon works and they need to start using it. Look at the battery size of the oneplus 13

people want slimmer phones. they make flagships slimmer but keep budget ones thick. then keep the affordable slimmer flagship at 4000 mah. nice

3,700mAh? not too bad considering it's still Li-ion. l was expecting worse 🤣.

I would love to have satellite features on my new Samsung, not new cameras and same stuff rolling every year for higher and higher price

I really want to defend the S25 Edge but I can't man. This phone is so cooked!

Samsung is incredibly lucky and is probably the only brand that didn't just get away with a massive failure of a phone, but actually benefits from it 9 years after the incident.

Battery capacity WAS NOT THE ISSUE with the Note 7, it was the PHYSICAL SIZE of the battery that was too large to fit into the phone's body, and it was largely Samsung's supplier that is at fault.

Most of the phones nowadays already thin and light enough for today's standard... well I'm not talking about S25U and 16PM ofc.

Why would anyone want this phone with all these compromises. The same is true for iPhone 17 Air. Worse battery life, less capable camera hardware, possibly worse thermal efficiency because of the thin build and possibly the frame will be more susceptible to bending.

One of the biggest nonsense Samsung has made.

My OP7T had 3800mAh, lasted ~ 30-35h off the charger, with 7h SoT. I don't understand what these new phones are wasting battery life on.

                                      Someone Else, 11 Mar 2025S25 = 146.9 x 70.5 x 7.2 mm = ~74,500 mm3 S25 Edge = 158.2... moreAgree with you , but that's a big 6.6 inch slab, I really wonder if it's any chinese OEM they will somehow mange to fit 4500 mAh capacity with Li-ion itself. But yeah they should've gone for Si -C

Atleast for this thing they should've gone for Si-C then it'll be around 4700 -5200 mAh(chatGPT)d it. For now we'll know how efficient is 8 elite is
