It is a niche product. Obviously won't be adopted by everyone.

And these businesses dont even care if they lose even 20% of buyers cus each product gives em higher profits than ever and ends up still being more profitable than not making products that are planned to be obsolete.

Yeah, nothing we can do about it. I'm blackpilled. I've seen this for 10 years and it's only getting worse. And the tech sphere is only getting hit very tamely compared to what other parts of a person's life is getting hit with. It's all over.

You could... not buy it? Write to their X account that you're protesting against planned obsolescence and won't buy it? Demand from politicians you can get in contact with to ban planned obsolescence in laws? Demand right to repair? Demand 10 year warranty on any electronics more expensive than $50? Demand parts availability and repair manuals and all related materials to be free and open to all for at least 15 years since the sale of the device?

Yeah, nothing you can do about it.

Any foldable item must and shall break one day

We all know, the best would be kind of S25Ultra with foldable screen.. but there are no such phones.
MateXT misses a lot in tele range since there is no hi res tele, even poor sensor sizes aside.
As for 2fold vs 3fold, I hope cameras and batteries get better or to per screen space comparable to bar phones.
If yoy have for comoarison screen 10" and camera 1/3".... vs 6.9" screen and 1" camera, some compromises ate too big.

I dont care about scratches on the onner screen since i can change the screen protector once a year and im good to go.
In terms of shock resistance, plastic will always be better than glass.
Durability hasnt been an issue for foldables for last 5 years.
But people still without thinking keep spamming "fragile screen" 😂

Guess how much it costs over here? $3,300. To put it into perspective, that's only a $500 increase from the Mainland China RRP. For a first-gen product, that is impressive value. I'd expected it to be around the $5,000 mark, especially when that was how much you used to pay to Giztop beforehand. Press F to those who paid for Giztop markups.

I doubt it'll cannibalize the MacBook sales since the MacBook can't have a stylus and touchscreen support unless it's a 2-in-1 convertible.

And yea, i understand your point but it all depends on how the person uses the phone i think. Some people can break even a Ulefone Armor whereas some might find it hard to break a foldable.

Besides, phones are manufactured planned obsolescence anyways, all tech is like that now. Nothing much to do about it, that's how it's gonna be and it's gonna get worse.

                                    Huh, TIL.

This is the only foldable design worth buying. I want a small one the size of a Pixel 9 or iPhone 16 that folds out to be the size of an iPad Mini.
