Poco's first Ultra phone made its way to our office.

403 Forbidden, 22 Mar 2025Still not more "Ultra" than the competition thoug... moreHar disagree, those other watches are good mostly because of battery life, but it's an entirely different audience. For the "normal" smartwatch audience, the Galaxy\ Apple Watch Ultra are the best of the best.

Also no issue with Pro midrangers. No clue why you thought that's an issue for me. I had a Mi 9T Pro and loved it. In my opinion, Ultra just doesn't make sense for a phone that ultimately doesn't provide more than other phones with the Pro monicker, at times not even as much as those phones. The Ultra naming just does not make much sense here.

      By your logic, except the flagship, none of those "midrangers" (tbh I won't call it a midrangers bcuz everybody with normal mental capability knows that any phone with Snapdragon 8-series are not "midrangers") are allowed to use the "Pro" or "Ultra" naming.

        You're okay with them calling it "ultra" on the Apple watch when the device lasts 36 hours on a single charge? My Honor watch GT 3 lasts 9 DAYS on a single charge. Check the price yourself in comparison to Apple Watch.

        It's just a name, relax. No one cares.

Also I would call the S25 Ultra even if it is mostly a small upgrade from the S24 Ultra, it's still a great Allrounder with the most versatile camera setup. But this? This is just a normal flagship. If not being midrange as usual from Poco is enough to somehow make this Poco, that's how it is I guess. Still doesn't make sense to me.

                My k80 had OLED :/ ofc global gets AMOLED. And yes it's a noticable difference...

The galaxy laptops is a failure, their tablets suck overpriced e waste. The traffic camera on the s25U made of "PLASTIC" and it includes their iconic s-pen. The s25U has inferior sensors for an ultra flagship compared to xiaomi, vivo and oppo.

You seem to have ... morein Germany, Poco X7 pro was offered for a limited time (think it was Marvel version) with a charger for free. Also I recall there was a time-limited offer by Xiaomi for 14T and 14T Pro series, where you could get a charger for 1Eur after submitting the proof of purchase to them... But yeah, in general I would consider Proprietary chargers MUST have in any case..
                        Standard ones are pretty cheap (20Eur for 100W ihmo) so not a big deal

You seem to have ... moreYeah, all recent Xiaomi European launches don't come with a charger in the box so would be strange if this had one. I thought that was a European regulation as nearly all brands in Europe are shipping without chargers now but not 100% sure what the reason is

                                    Charger in the box is deceiving, I think. You seem to have gotten the global unit (MIXM rom) but the European is EUXM. So it might not have it bundled as it was the case with the X7 Pro.

                                      Kekma, 21 Mar 2025Cuz its gaming oriented, duh.nothing against that "gaming oriented" tag, but...if let go of all negatives/worse things with a product, outside of a praising marketing pdf... let's call it then a very expensive toy, shall we?
                                      It's of course exaggeration, but just wanted to say - let's see the review, price, how it performs in tests...

                                        I wonder how long they will support software updates.

                                        Let's hope Xiaomi/Poco jumps on the bandwagon of 5 years of Android updates and 6 years of security updates.
