Mr. R Sole, 05 Sep 2013Android is too good for "nokia" handsets. Google ... moreWhat's wrong with Jolla? FYI Jolla's Sailfish OS has Myriad as one of the partners. Myriad are the creators and owners of Dalvik VM on which Android apps run. If Sailfish gets full Google Play support (which will not be surprising) officially through Google or unofficially through Myriad then Sailfish will be equivalent to, if not better than, Android OS. Jolla Sailfish can have its own app store.

i think most people didn't read this article well and understood it.there was a line that said that "the deal isn't exclusive and nokia are free to license their products and services to whom ever they wish to.so the i think the finns still own nokia and will be producing nokia devices in everyday life.microsoft only have a license produce nokia phones and sell on their own and even that, they still require nokia workers so it still be nokia's handy work if a device is released from microsoft's dungeon.

[deleted post]So whats your logic in giving me attention then?

It won't bring nokia back from the grave will it?

Are you moving to Jolla too, or are you going to swallow that misplaced pride and buy an iphone?

Android is too good for "nokia" handsets. Google MIGHT just feel sympathetic enough to throw them a much needed lifeline, one day. In 10 years.

              But I hope not.

              Enjoy Jolla!

Hey people, just wanted to express how much I think Mr. Elop is such a fantastic individual. How one man's actions silenced so many fanboy's pride with one swift move is astounding.

So now tell me again how good "Nokia" handsets are :)

This comment section is about mourning. Mourning a giant. I think this is justified. MS killed a giant with the help of virus Elop.

So now it's all American, except for Samsung. Google+Android/Motorolla, Apple+iOS/iPhone, Microsoft+WP/Lumia now the americans can spy on whole world.. :P .. but really feel sorry for the fate of Nokia. Too many wrong decisions, did't listen to the consumers. Now MS will have easy ride on the boad that Nokia build by their blood and swet.
