                I like the simple camera setup at the back compared to the big camera bump in many of the recent Pixel phones.

                    A step-down on the "A" series designs. I have owned a couple of As - 6A/7A and I love the camera design, this one looks a cheap knockoff.

                        Too rounded. The 7 series had the best design. This looks like an iphone clone.

                          I would prefer a thicker phone with bigger battery and with no to minimal camera bump. Sony I think make the best front door a phone with forward facing speakers, shame their update cycles suck.

                          I hope this becomes the new old trend again.

It's not like people will spend that much money (1k+) to get the same experience of UI/UX or gaming as 500 bucks phone. But you wouldn't get the same experience in camera in this level of phones as what you get with the ultra ones.

                                        Kratos-, 23 Mar 2025Specs wise looks good just those huge bezel why I'm far from being an expert, but I think it's a weight distribution thing.Meaning It falls face first in most tests..if not, maybe that's Google's idea of the "budget"/secondary beater phone look. Like the vehicle some get to keep the nice one nice and clean.

                                        Kids first phone, phone used when working construction or a phone for those who just want a basic phone to drive a good smartwatch (and almost never touch the phone).
