As with the other A-series devices, this is to become the most affordable model in the current generation.

Straight up trash. These thick bezels are only to show how the poor the customer is who couldn't buy a Pixel 9 instead and had to compromise. Whoever made the decision to make this phone doesn't want build a good product at all.

You'll find almost everyone complaining about exynos chips because of them being a little bit worse than snapdragon chips, but there are far less people who point out that the performance of the Tensor G4 is considerably worse than the Exynos 2400 (as an example).

      It would be such great phone if wasn't those bezels. Just looks cheap that way and you can't unsee it.

              I guess if Google didn't include the hideous bezels, people would buy this over the flagship models. Afterall, it has the same chip, has a great primary camera, and has the largest battery of any Pixel.

                - Gorilla Glass 3, the same glass you could found on 100$ phones.
                - thick bezels.
                - plastic back???
                - "Eco-Friendly Box" but in reality it's for extra profit.
                - 500$.

                    $500 is a reasonable price for a phone with a Tensor G4. Midrange price for midrange performance. What I have trouble understanding is how people justify +$500 extra just for better cameras.
