Google Pixel 9a in for review

As with the other A-series devices, this is to become the most affordable model in the current generation.

The best thing about this Pixel is the Absence of that ridiculous camera visor.

        This screams "CHEAP" wherever you look (but it's not cheap at $500).

              I must say that the Pixel 9a and iPhone 16e make even the A56 look like a good deal, despite its high launch price.

                    - Gorilla Glass 3
                    - Tensor G4
                    - High cost

                    I don't think it will be a success. You can mainly find such a phone in the price category around 300 euros.

                    The only positive thing is the many years of OS and security updates.

                      Why, even the galaxy S8 from 2018 has USB-C 3.1, which is better

You'll be getting twice the performance, a more premium build and noticeably slimmer bezels. The only downgrade would have to be the USB 2.0 port vs the USB 3.2 on this device

                            Straight up trash. These thick bezels are only to show how the poor the customer is who couldn't buy a Pixel 9 instead and had to compromise. Whoever made the decision to make this phone doesn't want build a good product at all.

You'll find almost everyone complaining about exynos chips because of them being a little bit worse than snapdragon chips, but there are far less people who point out that the performance of the Tensor G4 is considerably worse than the Exynos 2400 (as an example).

                                It would be such great phone if wasn't those bezels. Just looks cheap that way and you can't unsee it.

                                        I guess if Google didn't include the hideous bezels, people would buy this over the flagship models. Afterall, it has the same chip, has a great primary camera, and has the largest battery of any Pixel.
