        Purely speculation, but I'm curious to know if there would be "8 gen4" model, too?
        Earlier, the common knowledge was "8 gen4" got renamed to "elite" with the oryon cores.
        Though, one could imagine elite series as the most premium cores and "8 gen4" series with still the current best arm cores? then "8s gen4" with old arm cores make sense?

              Also Gpu is adreno 800 series, Adreno 700 is no more, you need Adreno 800 as future proof, this architecture is one which will be used in Laptop and desktop from Qualcomm.

                    Looks good enough. Maybe it will be the F8 next year that gains Oryon cores for under 400 euro.

                    POCO/Xiaomi will have the best midrangers this year with the X7 Pro at 300 USD and the vanilla F7 at 400 USD. Good, since their Redmi Note 14 series were a disaster.

There will be plenty of snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and dimensity 9300+ phones around the same price as upcoming 8sgen4 performance phones. 8 Gen 3 and dimensity 9300+ phones are already available for 1900-2300rmb (€235-€290) in China without the state discount. Phones like the Turbo 4 pro will be similar in price. All these budget performance phones use the same formula though. Good processor, decent main camera, 8 mp ultrawide. They are all so similar and in China at least there is a a sea of them to choose from. The dimensity 9400 might be a bit more expensive alright as that costs a good but more than the snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Oneplus Ace 5 for example is currently 2089rmb (€265)

                                Apart from replacing 520s with 720s, there's no major difference between this and 8s gen 3 in processing power.
                                GPU is better but who's buying this chip for GPU to be fair when mediatek 9400 is available in devices with similar pricing or you can buy a year old 8 gen 3 device for similar price. And is you want the best then there's 8 elite.
                                8s series is clearly for people who like productivity and this one is not that significantly different from 8s gen 3.

                                  I believe the F7 Pro and Ultra launched earlier to not be irrelevant, and the F7 would still ultimately launch with this.
