Samsung Galaxy S24 series gets stable One UI 7 update in Europe

The long-awaited update is now available to users across Germany, Poland, the UK as well as other European countries.

      Tell me again, what tangle upgrades where there in hardware between the base 25 and plus models and to a slightly lesser extent the ultra to last years models??

The qualcomm release from A14 to A15 differs quite a bit and code base is different for different chips. So when you say "It's just the same phone as S25" It could be true as seen from perspective of end user but from developers point of view It's not like that.
        And when you have some many custom changes on top of that it takes time to implement it correctly and not just hacks over hacks that produces lots of bugs in the long term.

        I'm not defending Samsung, they should have done it 2 months ago, but its not that simple. On top of that this year A16 will be released a lot sooner and that takes manpower from porting A15 on existing phones to developing OneUI 8 based on A16

          Not available in US yet. And it's april 10th

            Only nerdy people on these forums can't wait couple of months for a phone update.

            Smart people can wait, this delay should ensures smooth performance on older devices, as this update includes a major overhaul: moving to Vulkan, not a typical Android update.

            Complaining about the wait? Try testing all the existing and new features and stability using Vulkan across all 70+ Samsung devices yourself (and fix all the issues).

              The update is now being released, people still complain.
              I think these people love Samsung more than i do seeing they comment on most Samsung posts. Im not even doing that much posting either.

                samsung broke my s24 ultra with those trash updates, signal 4g/5g doesnt work anymore, phone it overheating like 200 celcius, batery doesnt work well anymore, so as a stupid, i bough the s25 ultra and for now its ok, im just better move to iphone., samsung its a trash

                    yip so much for 7 April...nothing here in South Africa either, I've lost faith in Samsung, very poor show.

Can't understand thes... moreYou do also realise many people went and bought last years flagships with the ultra costing upwards of 2k here in Australia while they released 2 budget phones a month ago with one ui7 running.. most people with the ultra are still waiting for the update.
                        You guys are cute though, they've been sitting on a general release for months because up until now the only thing separating this years and last years phones is/ was its new software
                        Not that difficult to understand

After making a big dramatic feature update in a relatively medium sized app, we need 3-6 months of testing and refinement for production release. It is not as easy as you think to bring out super stable high quality updates.

                              If the company has low standards, then they push out the releases sooner with then keep releasing bug fixes while annoying users with bugs.

                                  Theres a reason why so many tech reviewers ranging from Flossy Carter, MKBHD, MrWhoseTheBoss all prefer Samsung skins over the chinese manufacturers, they just not polished enough even if their fanboys on here tell ya otherwise

                                  But hey at least they got their barebones Android 15 update a few months ago

                                  Awww such a shame us samsung users had to wait an extra few months for the massive 3gb One UI 7 update :D

                                  One UI 8 wont take as long to release because it wont be as drastic as One UI 7

                                  But yeah whiners will always be here crying

                                      Cant take the fact its the 1st or 2nd best Android UI alongside the Pixel devices
