Samsung Galaxy S24 series gets stable One UI 7 update in Europe

The long-awaited update is now available to users across Germany, Poland, the UK as well as other European countries.

What about: massive integration, testing and validation. Samsung has to test stability, all existing and new features, now with new Vulkan's performance impact across 70+ device models, sometimes fixing countless device-specific bugs.

    Still Samsung didn't resolve 6GHz hotspot not appearing in laptop Wi-Fi windows list..

      Works just fine and very fluid on Exynos version.. very satisfied.

                  "i don't care about 'polishing'" What? So you'd prefer Samsung to dump an unstable, buggy mess onto millions of devices, potentially crippling them?

                  Anyway, people are getting One UI 7. Having it arrive properly tested and stable, even if "late" by your impatient standards, is better. Maybe think about what's better for the average user (waiting 2-3 months or having a buggy unusable phone?).
                  This isn't about me assuming I'm "smarter", it's about recognizing basic reality.

                    Updated my S24 today. And interesting thing I've found. 3x crappy zoom (natively 10MP) now can take pictures in 50MP. Sounds ridiculous, but it does upscaling job quite good. I'm impressed so far.
                    Don't like the big space gaps between widgets. Makes a lot of unused screen. Especially on the sides of the screen.

                            The beta program for the s24 series closed 8 weeks ago, even in its early stages people were talking about its stability/ lack of bugs so riddle me this?
                            gsma on its hands on of the a56/ a35 made some cynical remarks to samsungs bizarre strategy to release 2 budget phones running one ui 7 before giving it to last years flagships but guess they don't know what they're talking about either eh?

I don't care about "polishing", they have enough resources to release this so much earlier (while still "polishing", or procrastinating, on it). It's a bad way to handle this, and I have no idea why you aren't getting what they're laying down.

Go outside, touch some grass, actual people (not nerds) aren't dropping $1000+ on a new similar phone just because an update was late on the old one.

                                    Also, for the Galaxy S25 series, Samsung did not face the complexities of transitioning the graphics system from OpenGL to Vulkan with One UI 7, unlike older models. They avoided the long before-and-after stability testing, feature testing and driver management in such a migration.
