    One UI 7 is currently being released on older devices, this is the reality.

              Even the few people like myself, that do care, are ok to wait, because:

              1. One UI 6 already has plenty of features.
              2. Monthly security updates are present.
              3. The less rushed a major update is, the more stable it is.

                            They made all their promises a few years ago, released stuff properly then so that they can build trust with people and now they're intentionally locking stuff out and releasing it all slowly so people, who want fast updates, will get tired of it and switch due to FOMO.
