Compared to a measly 750mb on Pixels lol, you cant make this stuff up.
HAHAHAHAHA its hilarious trust me, I get it if you a an actual Sammy user but when you not and you more angry its comical, Samsung definetly have their family memebers hostage LOOOL

I will believe it when I see it, and so far I'm not seeing it.
"I hope you be happy in your life with your infinix."
Don't worry, I will be happy with it, not my first Infinix device, haven't had an issue with any of them, and it's not even the only brand I use, and my 3 year old Honor and vivo devices have already gotten Android 15 months ago.

Anonymous, 17 Apr 2025It doesn't make sense my brother 🤭 If you're mad ... moreDont worry about him he seething with rage even though he doesnt use a Samsung lol
He complains on every Samsung UI 7 article, and even articles that arent related to One UI
He cries its taken Samsung to roll out One UI 7 about 6 months later even tho they built it from the ground up, whereas other android OEMS released the most basic Android 15 update.
And the fact by the end of July more Samung devices witll have Android 15 than Xiaomi devices, One Plus devices, and his precious Infinix.
As i always say woooow they got android 15 at the end of 2024, but we not here for Android 15 we want One UI 7!!

And by the end of July more Samsung devices will be on One UI 7 and Android 15 than Xiaomi, One Plus and others :D
I mean devices from 2021 aka S21 series are getting One UI 7. Does any other android OEM do better?
NOPE

The thing about promises is, you either believe in them or you don't. None of the both sides are justified until and unless that promise actually comes to pass, so this argument will never reach an end.

... more""Significantly worse"? They've literally had just one bad year of not being able to offer software updates as fast as they used to. "
It just so happens that this is the very first major update of the 7 years worth of support that they promised, and they are already failing hard, but I could accept them being slower than usual if they wouldn't be the slowest now.

Anonymous, 17 Apr 2025It doesn't make sense my brother 🤭 If you're mad ... more"..why don't you also complain about your Infinix which updates slower than Samsung?"
I wasn't promised years of updates, I liked the hardware and as such I bought it because of that.
You know there is an issue when Samsung's update speeds have to be compared to Infinix's update speeds in order to look good.

I have Tecno spark 10 pro And it's just an Android update that's been around for almost 2 years, meaning the claims for the first year are invalid.

"Significantly worse"? They've literally had just one bad year of not being able to offer software updates as fast as they used to. The trend before this year had been that they were becoming significantly faster. I remember reading articles where Samsung offered their new OneUI 6 updates a whole month faster than when OneUI 5 released for phone the past year.
Besides, the fact that they've begun work on OneUI 8 gives me hope that they'll resume their fast update schedule again.

For app compabilities I guess. Besides, every new Android features/change are not as groundbreaking as before, compared to Android 2 to 9? days.
Other brand (chinese) phones have more powerful hardware, but why they didnt utilize the hardware enough for more new Android upgrades?

I expect much much more from Infinix too, if Infinix makes their update policy same as or even more than Samsung's midrange (6 generations of Android and Security updates). I would consider it, I don't mind paying more.
I'm confident that their hardware is very capable, if Samsung can do 4 years back then, why can't Infinix, Tecno, and Transsion Group phones in general? Instead of their mediocre ahh 2 (or 1 year because of last year Android cheat) of Android upgrades?

Are we justified... moreThis !
Also, major Android updates don't add many meaningful features on their own, anyway.
Samsung, however, added significant changes to its One UI OS, such as the transition from OpenGL to Vulkan.
These big changes improve performance and fluidity for users.

Goodluck 7yrs in with a Samsung phone that will struggle to do the basics without incessant lagging, bugs, overheating and fast battery drain. Updated Android phones might be necessary for security and new features but the cons are more than the pros. Rather stick with the openbox software in the long-term or upgrade every year or two if you never miss an update

Are we justified... more"Did you all just collectively decide to forget that these past few years, it was literally Samsung providing software updates at a crazy speed, sometimes even before pixel devices got them?"
No, but that's part of the reason why we should collectively expect more, companies should be improving year over year, instead of getting significantly worse.
