Why did they skimp on IP rating? Why did they skip UW?
Too much hype with pathetic compromises.

FOr example an s20+ compared to a 14 pro max, same size yet vastly different experience. Less wide screens are nicer to hold.

But yeah, it's your personal choice and i respect it. When phones are smaller it's actually nice to have em a little wider, most content saturates the screen fully like an iPhone mini for example.

Optical scanners scan the finger different so that is why those work with his fingers (he too has a skin disease), but the tech behind ultrasonic scanners is going haywire in his case, because it does not see the finger print = doesn't unlock.

Physical scanners work fine too for him, only ultrasonic do not at all.

I wish we went back to physical scanners, or at least go full apple style with faceid.

EU price will be at least 900 euro for sure, which is still a very good deal.

And the S24 Ultra (and its newer iteration with its absolutely unacceptable downgrades) have displays closer to 21:9 than 16:9.

so 13T joins the ranks of Oneplus 13, X200, X200 Pro, Find X8, Find X8 Pro with no autofocus on selfie.. no 60fps on selfie either.

Looks good, compact size but with top spec. Hope the global price not inflated too much.

jiyen235, 9 hours agotaller displays are easier to use. I tried an S20+ and it w... moreI personally prefer 16:9 displays (my biggest reason to not replace my beloved Nokia 8), but to each their own. I'd honestly prefer a different camera arrangement, as camera islands located to the corner tend to get scuffs pretty easily. The other biggest concern is that they may not launch the 1TB variant globally, as with other BBK phones.

this will be already as OnePlus 13s in Global likely soon, some specs are perfect.

Hope the international price doesn't get more expensive than China's price!

Minu, 9 hours agoAnd they managed to release it globally in the first place.... moretaller displays are easier to use. I tried an S20+ and it was somewhat identical in hand to an iPhone 13 pro for me.

But yeah! This is a huge win!

Having no ultra wide is a dealbreaker, but hey at least this undercuts the iPhone 16e.

                                Aesthetic-wise, this phone slaysss! 🙌🏽

As mentioned in another article on this site I do like the design mix of Pixel and Apple stuff. I certainly like the smaller screen going to a more compact size (at least compared to the ever growing screen estates which are ridiculous as not everyone is a content creator, a gamer, a media consumer as in binge watching...) Many people are begging for more reasonable sizes (and thus not only the new thin, thinner, thinnest craze) and this one fit's that bill. On top of that (to me at least) it has the same screen ratio as used on Sammy and Apple phones, the 19,5-9 ratio. I love wider, less tall screens. Eager to see what the first full review will give and also very eager to see how much it will cost in Europe. I saw an entry price of 499 dollars meaning that it will easily be around 600 to 700 Euros. That's not cheap but it is a premium device that uses a premium chip-set and materials so... Camera wise, I don't care. I'm not a content creator nor a photo cent-rick person. The dust an water resistance might be on the low side for a device with such asking price but again, not really bothersome to me as there is basic water repelling which is fine for me.

Not everybody wants to own phones that stick out of their pockets like TV remotes. Even though this phone has a generic design with a tall-display, as well as compromises that take away its flagship appeal (doesn't matter to average users, regardless), this ticks the boxes, at least for the vocal majority seeking for something different!

ProMaxUltraAreBricks, 9 hours agoOh, right, I missed the IP65 water resistance. And those 3... more8k 30 is more often than not absolutely useless, the detail boost is not useful in any way whatsoever, if the detail boost is present even.

Additionally, yeah, i know it aint gonna be that cheap. That's my point. In the global market the Find X8s and X200 Pro Mini would look a little weird to say the least.

jiyen235, 10 hours agoConsidering the price i can't complain. Top tier chip ... moreOh, right, I missed the IP65 water resistance.
And those 3 also might not have all bands unless globally released and also missing 8K30 recording among all the other caveats.

And the globally released phone will not be $645, if it is globally released.
