Yeah, and they got better, while Samsung just got slower. So, what exactly were you trying to say with this?

I still get flashbacks from Xiaomi shipping the Redmi 3 (Pro) with Lollipop and never EVER bumping it even by one Android version.
Then I daily drove a Smartisan from 2017 till 2021 which launched with Marshmallow and got discontinued with Marshmallow.

TBH I don't care when the next android 12.5 ... 16 releases, as there's no major changes in UI or functionality to me atleast only security patches matters

In the older present, Redmis or Chinese phones used to be not so good, the software updates are lacking, or if there was one to begin with. We used to beg manufacturers for software/android upgrades

Look at Redmi Note 4 (Mediatek), the phone was clearly powerful enough for few more android upgrades, but the manufacturer doesn't want to give Android upgrades at all. So I moved to Samsung J7 Pro, the OneUI update is amazing. Feels much much different than the peculiar MIUI (At that time). We don't need to beg for Android upgrades anymore, well, most of the times

There are times where people move to manufacturer A to manufacturer B, and vice versa. Because of used to be present at that time

I guess i should buy another Samsung product to spite you.

ehh, Aside from API changes, I don't really care anymore about newer android versions mainly because there are no actual changes, the OBS-style window only capture feature convinced me a bit in android 15, but I still didn't care, I am looking up a bit to Android 16, especially after I heard about External Display support.

Lol, I am on Android 12. Cos samsung stopped caring long time ago for my M51.

Anonymous, 27 Apr 2025The past doesn't matter is an insane takeIs it really? Okay, I'll say it in a different way then.

They were better in the past than they are now. Is that acceptable, should it be acceptable? No, and no.

DarlingYext, 27 Apr 2025That's just sad. Was the delay justified then?Is not buggy if you were thinking that.
Is just the design decisions that i dislike, vertical app list and stuff like that. Makes it less Samsung and more Google.

The delays were justified due to bugs.
