I use my phones with cases and screen protectors (my phones are not expensive but still...) and miss them sorely if they are not included in retail package/preapplied and I have to hustle to get/apply them myself. My last but one was a Realme that had it all, now I have a Samsung - the phone is good but there was only a usb cable in the box that I couldn't use because I didn't have a usb-c charger. It's the old rant 🙂: sometimes little things matter.

How can they claim the durability by showing the drop on a wooden floor?

I use my phone without a case because I don't like cases and my phone is not expensive.

I use a case mainly because my S25 Ultra is slippery and not comfortable to hold, the edges are a bit rough. Otherwise, I don’t use any screen protector. Personally, I prefer using the phone as it is. After all, what’s the point of hiding your phone its entire life just to sell or exchange it later? When will you actually enjoy using it the way it was designed?

I think it's generally commonsensical to put on a case when you're outdoors.
Just like pants, I take them off at home

These companies will reject warranty claims if they find even a small dent from falls. Using case is mandatory.
