If they were truly confident, they would include drop protection in their warranty.

The only phone I've ever been able to trust without a case is my Galaxy S24 Ultra. I go on iphone / android cycles, and iphone always easily gets scratched up. My Android phone has never had a screen protector or case and no scratches after almost a year.

Phones are entirely too slippery to use without a case. I go as minimal as I can, but case, screen protector for the front (and camera lens) is a must for me.

I have never used a case since going to Android in 2010. Over 30 devices and only one incident. The one phone that did break was not broken by me and the way thar it broke, a case would not have helped as someone dropped something directly onto the screen. Smartphone manufacturers should not design devices with trash materials and assume everyone will just use a case anyway.

I was just in the Apple Store in The Hague (Netherlands). All of the iPhone 16 series have scratches on their back.
So, I don't know what Apple is trying to do here, but using a new 1000+ EUR phone without case is kind of risky.
And also, you loose more money in the reselling/trade-in process. The price difference between a category A and a category C second hand iPhone is quite big.

"without a case" correct me if im wrong.
Apple wants your money wether your phone slips away from hand by accident and it cracks, shatters Apple Inc still dont care about that, put quarter of your salarity to repair .
The guarantee never gonna help you. only helps you when you got the phone which is manufacturing error.
Always put the case, in Home too to save your money for future plans.

Yes, instead of spending on a cheap ass case they want to drop it and come to them for a hefty price repair.

I always use a case and the pre applied screen protector (or the cheapest tempered glass one available). I don't care about micro scratches at all but I do care about dents and warranty.
