    Microsoft destroys everything but webrtc is everywhere

      The only "social" app that allowed for original file sharing while not having any Ads.
      L3ts see what MS Teams can do...

        Another thing from our era is gone, i have lots of memories in it including meeting the girl that is now my wife, i havnt used skype in many many years, but im sad to see it going

          Finally microsoft complete its another task to slowly eat skype and used its functionality in teams which is its own product.

            Skype is skipped!!

              Anyone up for a Skype group call? Mine is still up, but have nobody to call.

Juggling a company job and freelancing feels ... moreThat maybe ends the annoying updates the program does silently and then logs out or something. At least i have the skype go plank white box and need PC restart so it can do it's final update step.

                      Never mind the part that trough time there was also merging to Skype with few different programs and then have like 4-5 different alts and then takes each time a lot of time to figure out what was the real one. As i am to lazy to restart PC and it was run as admin to get the app working to be able to log in without restarting PC.

                        Sad. I've used Skype every day to communicate with my relatives and friends. I started using Skype when it first came out, and I still use it to this day. I didn't like Teams that much.

                                I remember the girls I used to flirt with, I used to Skype with them. We'll remember you with great fondness.

                                    Discord is where it's at for me, so not worried about this for myself. I know plenty of people who have used Skype in some form or other, so this might be a bit of a pain point for them. I would suggest something other than a Microsoft platform to stream on.
