Wow, what utter dogsht.

    So confusing! Juggling a company job and freelancing feels compromised. Teams is great for work, but I need a separate app for personal stuff to keep things separate and hidden at the office. Stuck in the middle! 😅 But huge thanks to the developers for letting us still use Skype even after the shutdown! 🙏

      Of my 60 Skype contacts, 59 are dead. Not opened Skype in years.

      There's no point in migrating to Teams or whatever. As a private messenger, the platform is dead.

        Perfect app for meeting and conversation no other distraction between client and friends, no one took seriously

                      microsoft only bought the fame and popularity of this..by purchasing it from original devs.. and now they destroyed it

                        This is very annoying. Skype has a service called Skype number where you can have a local phone number from various countries. I don't think there's any replacement for this service. Really annoying, and shows you Microsoft never had good vision in what they can do with Skype. The fact that Zoom leapfrogged them during the pandemic showed their incompetence.

                          For the last 2 months I've been looking for an alternative to Skype, but can't find a good one. I desperately need a reliable and affordable app for 2FA.

                                      last remaining app which had no bloatware advertising in app unlike many else like messenger viber whatsapp instagram etc.
