        iPhone 16 Plus with 4674mAh gets almost 19h in GSMArena battery test. 40% less battery is 2800mAh means 11.5h, which is exactly what is expected for Galaxy S25 Edge, and just 1h less than Xiaomi X7 Pro with 6000 mAh.

          If only we'd have a battery technology which would allow to have a bigger capacity in a smaller footprint..oh wait, we do have!! So why not use it?
          Honor can use it in a midrange phone, but Apple can't in a higher tier one? 😍

              Yeah I don’t care about the capacity, 145g is perfect and exactly how much a smartphone should weigh period. But it would have been easier to achieve a good battery endurance by using a smaller display, which would mean a smaller but thicker phone, which would have also allowed space for the second ultrawide camera. And at that point it would have been an IPhone mini which is what would be needed.

                      This leak should be taking with a grain of salt. "Leaks" reporting battery info for the iPhone 16 Pro had its battery significantly smaller at 3200 compared to the 3550 it actually launched with.

                        Get ready for portable Power banks

                          It's so funny with this craze for thin phones. Like, WHY?! What do you solve other than weight? You make it impossibly thin while its main dimension, the huge screen is unchanged. It's still a massive slab that you can only put in huge pockets of cargo pants...

                          Making phone as thin as possible literally and ONLY makes sense for flip/fold phones where when folded together has a thickness of a normal phone while having smaller dimensions because it's folded. There, I do understand the decision. For normal phone that doesn't fold, totally pointless.

                          My Galaxy S23 Ultra weight bothered me at first, but now I really don't care. I'd almost rather have it 2mm thicker so it had no camera rings exposed and would get even larger battery for the internal space I'd gain from extra thickness...

                            Iphone X has similar battery size and that phone with less powerful chip when it was new has problem to go 8-10h on one charge with mixed usage... Now imagine this one how it will go. Battery will have 800 cycles in just 10-12 months, and we all know that iphone batteries are bad and can't go over 800 cycles to go to or under 80% health...

I can imagine that apple does exactly this what gsmarena said, they making battery smaller to sell battery cases. An awful company with awful ethics and fanatic like fanbase.

                                If that new battery-saving feature actually does improve SOT significantly, only then may I really like this phone.
