Apple sells 9 million iPhone 5s and 5c units in first weekend

I find these reported figures to be strange. I haven't seen a lot of people adopt even the iPhone 5 as they did the previous generations. Most people I know still own the 4s. Also, most average consumers I've spoken to about the 5c and 5s are confused and have no idea which is which. Not knocking apple, I'm just saying that I'm seeing much less of a demand as used to.

i have to say - apple as a computer maker are brilliant... phones not so good. anybody that loves iphones are just uneducated. i bet if every single iphone user was sent to tech school to learn about the internals etc etc. ya'd all have another device within a week. iphone is just a fashion thing and nothing else afterall - 5 compared to 5s and nothing but a fingerprint scanner, a slightly faster 'dual core 1.7 ... and 9 million sales!!!! unbelievable. but each to there own. everybody is different

Total sales of whole Lumia Series is jus 7.4 million in Q3... IPhone 5S and 5C alone sold 9 million, that too in a week?? Definitely fake story

Hello everyone,
first of all I am a apple fan, but I wanna say my view about apple here..
Each time apple brought a new phone it tries to say that It has broke the previous record that it made by selling the new version of Iphone.
And always there is a word used mainly that is "shipped" not "sold" and if they say they sold, in that case its not actually selling but shipping.
after the apple event in september 10, it took only 24 hours for Apple to loose $20 billion of its Market Capitalization. For ur concern, a company doesn't go by what i think or u think but by what the shareholders are thinking. Loosing such Market capitalization shows how the investors are thinking about their own company product. I remember the time just a year ago when Iphone 5 was launched, apple lose $200+ per share withing a few days. So a company like apple , samsung or whatever it is always try to give positive sales information in order to increase the share price. So they try to give an info that is inflated not actual, and if it is actual then why don't they clearly that how many units of which model was sold in which country under which carrier??
now, guys, its up to u...im expecting ur opinion if i am wrong....

Low supply of 5s? Lol im sure thats not true, its just to make it look like they are selling. ...why are people even buying this phone? They are contributing to apple laughing at its users who keep buying the garbage they tell people is an upgrade.
