johndru, 22 Nov 2008you got it all wrong.. :) Gsmarena favors Nokia lately cuz ... morejohndru, when are you going to wake up from your dream?. No amount of Nokia bashing will change the fact that Nokia has 38% global market share and over 50% of the smart phone market. Samsung aint got nothing on Nokia and the numbers above don't lie. Did you also see Nokia's product pipeline?, if you saw it then be under no illusions that Nokia will grow further.

GSmarena doesn't favour Nokia coz you surely can't expect it to praise half baked phones made by other manufacturers. Didn't they rightly criticise the Nokia N96?.

Yo, Yo! Almost everyone smells a fish that GSMarena favours Nokia. So bad, So sad.... But frankly speaking, Even I do. lol.
I remember GSMarena going outta their way to reward Nokia N95 as the best 5MP camera phone even though their photos were unnatural and over saturated.
Why does Nokia keep producing the same phones over and over again? wth man. whats with this Nokia N82, then N78, N79. nad then N96 and N85. wtf. y cant they make just one and then progress to bring out something much better rather than selling old wines in old bottles over n over again. They shud take a cue from LG. it tries to make every phone better and different than its previous one. Nokia's making everyone sick. n change that hell of ur software man, it sucks big time!

            Samsungs symbian OS is BASIC

unlike Nokia's where you can use all the potential!!!

But SERIOUSLY nokia phones are the best no matter what. Nokia phones are not lousy the got the best durability, designs and much more. Nokia phones are really worth buying it and i dont regret it at all. gsmarena is really telling the truth and i think there really professional and know what there talking about.

Anonymous, 22 Nov 2008do you know why gsmarena favors nokia? because they actuall... moreyou got it all wrong.. :) Gsmarena favors Nokia lately cuz nokia is now trembling to SAMSUNG and to other phone giants like SE and Motorola since the ONLY (yes, ONLY) thing that is good to nokia is the S60 symbian OS. Remove THAT and nokia will JUST be like Siemens.

compare the midrange phones(no symbian obviously) of nokia to other phone brands. they're just plain ol' useless.

besides, who needs a nokia symbian when there's SAMSUNG symbian phone. BETTER LOOKS yet same features. :)

Could someone explain to me the posting policy of this site. I made quite a valid point about the operating system on nokias and this was removed! Does this mean we can only make positive remarks? Acording to the posting rules as i understand, it did not warrant any censoring at all!

what's this for? to gain more market share? tsk tsk.. GSMarena team is really making themselves obvious that they are 100% NOKIA FAN. it SHOWS in your reviews? no matter how lousy Nokia is, they tend to let us "feel" that Nokia phones are worth buying.

compare gsmarena to other sites like phonearena. you'll know what professional writing is all about.

It's good to see these kind of things revealed to public. I'm sure Nokia always do proper durability tests before they release their products to the market. I experience this first-hand since I work in the wireless industry. These kind of tests are not only limited to Nokia. Other manufacturers, such as Samsung, LG, TCL-Alcatel, etc, perform them too.

But my Nokia 2630 handset fall on the pavement earlier & cracked. I have to replace the screen cuz it was broken. So, plz take more care of your slim nokia devices in regard to "dropped"/"scratched" problem.
                                        Thanks.
