Even with two quad cores processors, Samsung Galaxy S4 heats up real quick and with a true octa core processor, it will just explode. So, it's good Samsung isn't releasing the true octa core update for S4 or Note 3.

Me or you, 05 Oct 2013Im honestly think that....seems whole world know that "... moreIt's marketing lie for unfortunate people like u. If someone seen Octacore banner, they should already know it is a Big.little setup.

Every online article states what Exynos octacore does. The specs are also stated on the box itself that has quadcore a15 + quadcore a7 cpu.

Don't blame the companies if u r too lazy to find out.

The Octacore seem to be working fine in S4 without this update. Having additional updates is a bonus although not pre-requisite. Those complaining about the Octacore are those crying over sour grapes because it is not available in their country. There's significant difference running graphic extensive games against snapdragon version of S4. If you haven't seen it or used it for long time, don't bother commenting.

Is that like Iphone 4/4s getting partial updates because they aren't powerful enough to handle color enhancements?
Or Sony and LG phones stuck on ICS?

Octa core and it can't beats dual core Lol. even though Lg G2 still faster than your S4 and Note 3, 64-bit of iPhone 5s beats them all in benchmark and the only Android phone keeps up with IPhone 5s LG G2 in benchmark WAKE UP.

We have been told the 4.4 is a big improvement and
it's what we want.We haven't been ripped off.
In fact we should be praising Samsung for putting
it's resources into 4.4 like we want now.
Check out Samsung forums, we are happy they are working on our touch Whiz update instead.

and it is an 8 core processor.Samsung have never lied too us.Go back to your old laggy and slow dual core WPs LOL. Let the professional handset users talk.

What are you talking about? Poor updates? The s2 (2011 flagship) has enjoyed the best update support outside of the nexus line. 2.3 gingerbread right up to 4.1.2 jellybean, I know they're not going to go on forever but its not like the device is going to stop working when a new version of android is released.
If you want quick updates get a nexus, simple as that really.

If you want latest Android 4.4, then you need to buy S5 or Note4. This is Samsung's business strategy. Very poor in OS update and always force end users to purchase new devices.

In all seriousness, I have used the Note 3 and it is inpressive from all angles though expensive (but cheaper than the Apple 5s) and with superfluous functions and software.
The Note 2 is far better value for money if you don't need a 13mp camera (which most of us don't) . Can also live without hovercraft fingers.
