As expected. Apple is the main force in the mobile industry. It's either them or nothing. It's damn well sad that the other guys has to fake their benchmarks scores just to compete with a 1GB daul core iPhone. That says alot!!

Reality check - Only 1 developer said that about "desktop class".
The 64 bit promotion was a marketing gimmick. Performance improvements had to do with more with the smaller die and move from a 3-core to 4-core graphics processor.

Per the linke above, the other gimmick is saying the 5s is 2x faster than the iphone 5. The GPU maybe, but the CPU? By what benchmark? Not the passmark benchmarks. At best it's 50% faster:

Another gimmick - The 64 bit dev environment wasn't even available to Apple developers when the product was released. Not even Apple said it has rewrote any of their applications to take advantage of the 64 bit architecture.
Unfortunately, with Apple it's more about what they don't tell you than what they do.
Watching you iphone fanboys promote the performance of the new chip and iphone is quite funny, given how many of you would also make negative comments when other manufactures come out with newer, more powerful phones. Why do YOU need the extra performance if ios is so smooth? hahaha
The only useful takeaway from the comment with the above quote about "desktop class" performance on a mobile device is that for some applications more performance is needed. For some people mobile phones will be replacing notebooks and laptops in the near future, so for application on desktop platforms to run you'll need more capable handsets.

And that was like first version of that jailbreak tweak, you see it runs super well and fast, quite throw your rant about more cores and more ram into trashcan for real multitasking, doesnt it :)

I would choose an iPhone over any Galaxy any day. At least Apple were honest with all their press releases and marketing while Samsung is just corrupt company which doesn't have any integrity. Apple may not be the first one to invent the features they have on their device but they're all done in legal terms. They bought the rights to those inventions and even improve more on them. While Samsung just steal ideas from others, rig their benchmarks and the latest dirty tactic they've done: Spied Nokia and Apple for more thievery.

However, Galaxy Note 3 are so advanced and it have so many features that the more cores and alot of RAM is just REALLY awesome.
Just to take an example on the multitasking on iOS 7 and Android. You can't really do real multitasking on iOS 7 compared to how real the multitasking is on Android. And just that will use 2-3 times more RAM on an Android phone than it will do on iOS 7 under multitasking.
The iPhone 5C and 5S are handicapped and gimped, and that's why things goes so smoothly on iOS and that's why iPhones doesn't needs better hardware than hardwares made from the stoneage.

[deleted post]I'm not blinded by cores. I'm just looking outside of the Apple glasses to see what benefits more cores gives us.
I would like to see how a Galaxy Note 3 would be able to handle all of it's awesome multitasking capabilities with just 2 cores without lagging badly.

Just think in your head that people prefer different things, its pointless to say someone else that you should choose what i have, your opinion doesnt change ANYTHING more and more people buy iPhones everyday because its great phone and frankly for smaller hi-end smartphone its only option available.
That would be same if xbox owners say to ps owner that dont buy ps again, xbox is way better. They are both good they both have their advantages, they both have games which are only for that one platform. So you see its matter of taste. For example i prefer ps and im waiting ps4.
By the way i didnt even read your comments, when i see words like icrap, i skip the comment and go right away read the next comment because it already tells so much about writer.

(Because that list is long) Im very interested to know, because all the musicians and music app devs have said that android for musicians is crap because latency so bad thats why there isnt much to offer for android users.
I think its pretty incredible that i can use my iphone as guitar effect machine or with midi keyboard in 2013 actually that guitar thing has been avaiable since 2010. That keyboard came end of last year.
