A 'suspend_backoff' wakelock is keeping my phone awake all the time. For now I avoid this problem by restarting the device once a day. I didn't detect so far what application is responsable for this.

I have a quattro about 3-4 months old. The quattro is like an orphan device for samsung because while the features are better off than the grand duos, the only updates that quattro received were firmware updates. With a faster processor (Quad core), greater RAM availability (845 MB quattro VS 804 MB grand) and alomst the same screen features, Quattro is a better candidate for higher android versions and yet, only the grand has been updated with android 4.2.2... No news of Quattro getting any higher android versions. Seems like Samsung has forgotten its own device and left its users in the lurch, sad and dimming hope. Samsung, please note.

You guys know what's funny. I don't get why people are ranting and raving about these android updates and stating that they're going to change mobile devices. I'd like to think when I buy a device, I buy it for its cool functions and speed... not because it will or will not update to the next best android. Are we so caught up in the buzz of updates that we forget why we bought the device in the first place? I don't know that's just my take on things.

Alright Look, android announced KitKat about a month ago. It's on the freakin home page. http://www.android.com/
Secondly, android 4.4 is supposed to be on some of the newer devices, BUT if you read into 4.4's tagline.
"It's our goal with Android KitKat to make an amazing Android experience available for everybody."
Sounds like even older devices will be able to run KitKat, I hope so. And if not, it's not Android's fault, older systems tend to not be able to run newer software, have you played a PS3 game on your ps1? Why? Because it won't work! Ps1 can't handle it! Phones are the same way, they have limited abilities, even though they may seem like modern day Demi-gods.
As for the Android Vs iPhone war.
iPhones are good, don't get me wrong, but Android is about 13 steps ahead.
-The ability to customize almost every feature.
-The ability to easily install APKs from the web
-Play videos in some browsers
-Flash player support in some browsers
-Android has widgets
-Android has an open file system
-The ability to overclock your android
-Android NFC
-Multi-Window
-Custom Keyboards
-Custom launchers (Including IOS7 HAHA)
-Universal Share
-COST! iPhones cost a stupid huge amount of dough!
Maybe even more...but I'm done blasting apple.
I'm not hating on Apple, they're just not the best anymore, Android has significantly stepped their game up and they are now eating Apple's dinner, it happens.
