Anyone who own a full HDTV have it in size of 42inh or more and would most likely be sitting around 8 to 10feet or more away from it, you will not see any pixels on the screen at that distance and for smartphones to fit such resolution in a smaller aria like 6inch they'll have to make the pixels so small you still won't be able to see unless you use a magnifier.

How much smaller can text get, I am already going blind, LOL. that resolution might make sense on 10" and up devices, and even then it will be a battery hog.

i wish they were able to fix amoled issue we can have long lasting blue pixels,
we can have high dpi, RGB amoled plus screens

i can see the future SONY mobile phones display from now. because SONY is one of the japan display partners. and Apple buys most of it's displays from japan display.

STOP making Smartphones BIGGER & BIGGER.
But it's not about size of pixels, if it was the case, 441 ppi is good enough.
it's about Compatibility of future smartphones with other Devices like UHD TVs and ...

bezels are too thin and not good to use with one hand. there is a risk of accidental press of on screen buttons like the base of your thumb pressing the back button when swiping across the screen.

Companies would be under immense pressure to improve the battery life to support these ultra high resolution screens for 10-12 hours.

My eye sights are real good, but I don't think I can tell difference between this and 1080... We'll see.

i think going above 1080 is pointless since the difference wouldn't be as much as before, the power consumption and processing power would also be to much, it isn't as big a difference as it was jumping from 480 to 720 to 1080, seriously my pc screen which is 21,5 inch has 1920*1080... i'm not just saying this i really wouldn't like a phone with a 5 inch display which has higher ress than full hd, to much processing power needed for nothing.
