nokia cut the crap go and sue qualcomm instead of htc, if nokia cannot manufacture a phone which people want to buy why stop the good phones available for us to buy. go and improve your phones instead of suing others who make a good phone.

The guilty company here is Nokia IMO! They has to sue those companies who are using their patent-protected tech for the production of some main-line hardwares. Not those companies who by these patent-protected tech without knowledge.

@Gelvin I understand the process, but I believe htc have done nothing wrong as the modulator has been found in qualcomm chipsets, it hasn't been locked to Nokia so HTC have a good chance of winning the case, like they had done on the microphone issue.

Nokia is responsible for each and every suit they file for their patents against a company. Microsoft has no influence over here. If they even were to include in the judiciary decisions, they will be the first ones to asked about their involvement leading to breach of influence contract and may lead to a big NO to Microsoft which I am hoping Nokia should do.

That's why HTC feels the court has taken the wrong decition and has expressed its plans to appeal."

May be read it again? The appeal against the decision regarding their decision was made after the decision of courts. As HTC got their own innocence report, they will win in this argument too. Please be more specific with what you read.
