AnonD-197784, 31 Oct 2013Nokia is it that bad with you now?? Or is Microsoft using ... moreThe thing is, if it's a legit complaint, Nokia *has* to sue HTC. It's their responsibility to the shareholders and the patent system to do so, otherwise you are letting companies steal your ideas/designs.

You could argue the patent system is broke, or Nokia doesn't have a claim, but as the rules are setup now, Nokia basically had to do this.

If the court validates their complaint (which they did) then it's a legit case. Had the court found Nokia had no claim, then it was them just screwing around.
