... moreHi Heretic, I'm also from Peru and I get the update on friday 22. I don't understand what do you mean with ART and DALVIK mode, could you explaint it to me please? PS. Try the KITKAT LAUNCHER, it really works smoothly in my N4.

I just got the Kitkat update last night (from Lima, Peru).
It's really smooth, no big changes at first glance (no nexus 5 launcher) just som new icons and the option to select de ART mode.
I tried the ART mode and it's trully amazing, BUT whatsapp just doesn't work, so i had to go back to Dalvik mode.
Kind of dissapointed cause i was expecting the new nexus 5 launcher, i installed manually but i just doesnt look right on the nexus 4. The icons becom huge and it feels a little bit samsung-ish and i'm not really fan of that.
When the update installed, i experience a bit of hicups in my nexus 4, but after a while it corrected all by itself. Now it's running really fast and smooth.
Maybe Google will seed a launcher specially made for nexus 4 cause like a said before, the N5 launcher just doesnt feel right.
anyway, so far so good about this update.
oh! and last week crazy mad pressin the check update button day and night and got me nothing. I just gave up and decided to be patient, yesterday all of the sudden the phone alert me that the update was ready to be downloaded. Just be patient guys, it's seeding via OTA, a bit slow but it's coming for all of us.
