That is just plain stupid, how on earth are samsung copying apple, when a lot of apples products have used samsung parts before?

Plus on the design, i mean come on! They look NOTHING like each other.

On top of all that how can samsung be copying when the s4 and note 3 especially are higher spec devices than any iPhone Apple has to offer?

Not trying to bash apple too much as im commenting now with my iPod touch, but seriously this is crazy.

Your reply isn't even about the topic: You were just criticizing the way I tackled your argument.

You were throwing out senseless one liners and I just had to discredit it with comparing it to other situations to create a valid basis. You were not presenting any valid points; Merely blurting out words as if they meant anything.

Your inability to associate things baffles me, and brings up the question of whether or not you're a actual human being capable of any rational thought or if you're just a bot programmed to say one liners.

That's why if you noticed; I really didn't comment much about them. I bash Apple for what it does because I believe they can be so much more than what they are right now. As of the moment, I only see the company as a "business, and business is GOOD; but I want them to be more than what just a business because I think they have the capacity, and people listen to them. They can influence the world, and I want that influence to be positive.

Too many times Samsung was caught cheating. From paid false reviewer, to bench marking, and patent issues. Good thing is, Samsung folloWed the first rule in cheating and that is "if you're caught, don't ever admit it". LOL

Why so many comments here claimed that Apple invented multi-touch?
"One of the early implementations of mutual capacitance touchscreen technology was developed at CERN in 1977 based on their capacitance touch screens developed in 1972 by Danish electronics engineer Bent Stumpe."

ijudge, 23 Nov 2013Nice try but your samsung lawsuits list is too short compar... moreA Wikipedia page about Apple litigation? Both wins and loses. What's your point?

Apple's a billion dollar multinational corporation. They face litigation every day. Some gets the attention of the media and some don't. Same with Samsung. It comes with the territory. Did you happen to look at the Wikipedia page for Samsung's litigation? ;)

My point is that Samsung's actions are more unethical and egregious than any other company in the tech industry.

As a side note, I've noticed that the people who refer to Apple as "crapple" are usually the ones who are most obsessed with the company. Far more obsessive than any Apple supporter.

Anonymous, 23 Nov 2013Just to clear the air mate. I don't like other companies to... moreNo offense taken. This article is also about Samsung. As far as unethical practices in the tech world go, though, I think Samsung takes the cake.

They've been copying companies for years. Look at their past patent squabbles with Motorola and Blackberry. They've been sued by other companies for stealing/ copying technology as well (Sharp and LG come to mind). Not to mention their current court case with Ericsson because they decided to suddenly stop paying Ericsson for patents that they use.

Then there's the illegal leaking of Apple information to their sales department so they could extort more money from Nokia.

The $18 billion (yes, billion with a "b") fine that the EU is about to hand down to them for trying to use SEPs as a weapon. That goes against the entire point of SEPs.

Then there is the unethical practices of them hiring people to post on comment sections.

Oh, and don't forget the bribing of public officials.

I won't even get into the shrine they have at the middle of their headquarters that everyone has to pay their respects to. Or their president's slogans that is constantly played over the loudspeaker so that everyone working their keeps on towing the corporate line. Sounds a bit too cultish for my tastes.

The Lee family squabbling is mildly entertaining, but that's besides the point.

I could go on more, but I think you get the point. The more you read about Samsung the more you realize how sleazy the company is.
