The camera is lackluster, but not really a show stopper. It really should have a microSD slot, though. What were they thinking there? Still, looks promising for a first WebOS phone. Looking forward to more :)

I used to have the Treo. It was hard departing from it. I switched to the N95, then the Viewty (my worst phone), then back to the N95 (black), then the Diamond (so-so phone). I did miss some of the Treo's features for a while. Like the way it integrates bdays from your contacts automatically into your calendar.

Now I have the iphone and so far it's the best phone that I ever had. But this Palm Pre has really caught my attention. By the looks of it, I'd say it's a worthy iphone competitor. I like its UI, and its keyboard. I'm not so sure about its design though, and I wonder if the display is made of glass like the iphone's. The iphone's 3.5 display and the app store are really what's going to make me undecided. Plus, I just bought my Mac Book Pro that synchs with my iphone wonderfully, so it would be a lot of thinking for me to switch, although it is very tempting. I'm looking forward to learning and hearing more on this device. The iphone is already in a secure position. RIM, Nokia and HTC should really watch it. SE and Samsung would still of course trail behind in the smartphone arena. Congratulations to Palm. I think this phone will do just fine.

I would say in the brands out there palm would not be the names that comes out first as to if you ask a regular phone lovers this question.
"what brand has the best cell phone". But i wil say to you all out there, including palm company. that you got me this time and i will be happy to add palm in top three.
            best of luck palm

Looks slick indeed! It looks like they took the best of the Iphone, the Neonode and perhaps even Windows mobile to come up with something that might just kick Apple where it hurts....

Not bad, not enough at this stage to turn me from my iPhone, but I love the touchstone. That's brilliant.

ITs really an I phone competitor maybe better than the abdroid system

But well IPHONE IS THE REAL Trend Setter.

But still GR8 OS and Phone Keep it up
