I guess nobody learns from AMD. You can't beat Intel at it's own game. You have to concentrate on your competitor's weaknesses.
When WP launched in 2010, dual core Android phones were just around the corner and were creating lots of hype. Android and iOS had the lion share of the high end market. But they absolutely sucked at low and mid range devices. At the high end, people want the best hardware and lot of apps. At the low and mid end, reasonable compromises are easily accepted. But iOS didn't have a mid end device while Android phones made too much compromises in this range. Microsoft could have grown at an extremely fast pace, had it concentrated on these markets since it's easier to win people over. By 2013, their market share would have grown considerably and it would have given them a solid foundation to target the high end and have an easier time at succeeding.
But they choose otherwise. And they are still far behind Android and iOS.

ha lol and at the begin of next year I am going to get a htc 8s. probaly 0,2 procent of all wp-phones are htc 8s or something, I don't care.

in less than three years by Nokia Windows Phone will become No. 1 hope and believe it is the second phone with Windows and are awesome what software developed in the last 3 years good for them

With dual Krait 1 GHz & Adreno 305, Lumia 52x line is actually quite powerful.
Too bad I can't play PPSSPP emulator on it because of OS limitation. What a waste of raw processing power.

Simply loved Lumia 520. I wish the design of Lumia 525 would have been a bit different, like putting a clearshell like Asha 502, it would have made Lumia 525 so very attractive! #justsaying
