Again it's better than Android in security because:
1-iOS doesn't have viruses.NSA will look at those datas when they are doubtful about you and not always watching you.Come on.They don't have enough time to watch all of those files. But viruses are worse.
2-Google accused before for letting organizations to have your files so don't think that your Android phone is safe. It's even worse because some of the viruses do that job and the spies who created those viruses will access to your files and check them and maybe put them on Social networks.
So again in security category the iOS is winner.

It's not just about iPhones,it's for all OS.And don't think that they are looking at all of your files,if they get doubtful about you, they will look at those. So don't be a criminal and your data will be safe.

How would one go about...wiping the entire OS off your phone and re-designing the whole thing (ei. re-creating the programming for all of the essential internals like SMS, voice calling, bluetooth, wifi, etc. etc.) So you know the phones OS is safe, what kind of program do you piece that together on? And where could you find the basic code to help get started? Big question I know, but it looks like we ought to take this into our own hands. I know that it is very possible considering you can access most all of the system files of the device when connected to a computer or such.

MdN8, 31 Dec 2013Still, they can spy on people from other countries which is... moreTotally Agreed. If they are carrying such an operation, the first thing they need to do is define protocol to make sure it can't be used just like that or be used for any other purpose except for fighting terrorism.

As far as people from other country are concerned, it has become a limitation due to rise of global terrorists :( . Lets just hope they don't use it to spy on other governments but that's not just gonna happen, they'll probably use it for that also. That's why i said, it doesn't affect most people, just elite few who won't be probably on gsmarena.

I've read how NSA people were bragging about taking photos of some US congressman in his home using the camera in his iPhone.

US Govt. doesn't want Apple to be kicked out from the market even if it has the worse product in the competition.

Although this does invoke privacy concerns, but its not something to get upset over it for most people. They'll probably be using it against terrorists to generate intel for keeping their country safe and not to surf the porn on your iPhone or read the texts that you sent to your gf while cheating on your wife :P

Which is why Apple might have also allowed them to do secretly if its indeed true.

i don't really believe Apple would be doing this since ut respects the privacy of its customers and afaik you can jailbreak and install anything on an iPhone ... use your head or maybe evasi0n is an alternative :P
