wow... all of this just further goes to prove the unsurprising fact that se's losing market shares around the world. remember the good old days when the s700 first came out? now se is faced with the sobering consequence of having to watch and learn from nokia, samsung, lg, and even htc. i hope se doesn't go down the drain like motorola.

It seems to me that all sony phones are the same but with a little design differences. They need to come out with a new technology that will change their phones.

I think that if SE want to be leader on mobile phones, those guys should make phone displays in size 2.8 inch and higher, because we are upset seeing these little screens.
I'm also waiting for an X2, which should be designed carefully and to be nice for SE fans and users.

Bunch of low end toys for children. Who buys these anyway? Besides, it's not as if there's a dearth of low end handsets.

I like the design of the C901. It is simple and looks like it can last long. It is also easy on the eyes. I hope SE can release more phones with the design like the C901 but with more features. Btw, the W395 is plain ugly (my opinion).

iv never had anything like midrange from s.e all their phons are high end..even if it has no camera or whatever

that's it!... w980 is the last SE i'm buying for some time... they're repeating themselves so much it's becoming obvious (noticeable when fans like me and others that already posted here start complaining)
Nokia on the other hand is going to hog all the action from SE for sure... which is sad... as fully loaded as they may come, their functionality is mediocre camera and player wise (gps and wifi are very good though)

I've heard so many disaster stories about this phone, it really tarnished SE's reputation...C905 isn't really a masterpiece either, I just am not a fan of its boxy weird design.
SE's two other 5mpx phones are not too good. I already mentioned the K850 and its dodgy touch buttons and reliability issues, and the C902 has a tiny screen and takes mediocre quality photos. The C901 looks like a success though, a "normal" 5mp phone with a decent sized screen and no gimmicky touch buttons. If it has GPS on board I will seriously consider buying...
I own a W760 and am very happy, so SE are still releasing very decent phones every now and then.

W,K,T,C,G,M,S...these are the letters SE uses for their mobiles,but they offer nothing comparing to other brands.It`s this phone`s case,too.SE uses same design to all phones and their own software(very few of them have OS).I think "P" series is the edge of SE phones...I`ve had P800,P900 and now P990i...P1i isn`t offering much from P990i,so still waiting for a real exciting "P"...No offence!It`s my opinion about SE...

SE needs to do more phone separation because the sure do crank out phones that are so similar you wonder why:
W705 vs G705, S302 vs W302, W580 vs S500.
But they do have some interesting phones out. F305 is a nice new phone.
