ok i was gonna bash SE but for the first time i actually like the design, the C901 looked great straight from its leak and it looks great now,

the only prob is the bunch of crap that came after the K850i.

Greatest SE phones: K750i, K800i, W810i, K850i, W910i and C905... now the C901 joins in

that's why SE is losing ground.....they could not release really "new" phones that are exciting....i am an SE fan but after getting an iphone, duh, i will stay with iphone although i have 2 other SE phones (W910i and T700) and an Omnia

BlueGhost, 22 Jan 2009Hey some people like the SE design, if you don't there are ... moreI feel the same way...the C902's screen was way too small for me, and there was no way I was getting the K850. C901 looks like a good 5mp phone. If it has a GPS receiver it might just seal the deal...

More Walkmen, more Cybershot. Can't they diversify, please?

It is sadly but understandably evident that SE is remaining cautious during the current climate and releasing "safe" handsets onto the world market which will be mainly taken up by the carriers (many of whom irresponsibly ruin such devices by altering their software to clock them) and to a lesser extent directly by buyers wanting the SE functionalities and great java OS. However, SE must, given that it appears to have now decided to move upmarket and not focus on low cost market share, design and offer compelling devices that people will be willing to pay for.

i will hate with w395 if that phone made by sagem, just like its non-walkman version, f305.. for their designs, it's OK..

Hey some people like the SE design, if you don't there are other makes.

How many ways can you design an ergonomic candybar phone, and appeal to business users and laymen alike?

I was put off C902 due to small screen area and touch pannels for camera. This looks more my scene. I'm sure there are others who feel the same....if not thanks SE for making a phone just for me lmao :O)

As much as I can see from the photos "Sony Ericsson" for my taste is getting boring with those new Cybershot models like C901 (nothing different from C902 5 Megapixel camera...) in this case which looks same as Sony Ericsson K530 (ok I am not 100% sure about specifications) but I can bet it's not going be WOW model to die for.
As well as W395 which looks like Samsung G900...I think Sony Ericsson should hire new designers for looks of mobiles and to come up with different operational software.
