Brother, it is very disappointing if Motorola Moto G launch at 15000 inr for 8 GB . Motorola then will be failed again. It is true that no one of Us will be ready to pay this much for this phone. So, cross the finger for 11.5 K. But me also thinking it will come under 13000k. If Motorola get a profit of 200 inr, the company will be very rich as We are Indian around 100 crore people. They are not MOTO nou, they are google. The surely know the correct pricing.

It seems USB OTG is working fine after Kitkat Update. Check XDA forums. you just need a file manager app.
In India Customs[Import tax] is 6% of total value for electronics.VAT TAX is 5.5% for IT products. So for 8GB Moto G it be around 12500RS. then retailers add another 1000 for their profit. So Ideal rate should 13500Rs.

Still Indian brands offer much better phones here, provided that the buyer is not narrow minded. If you manage to escape the common misunderstanding that only global brands offer quality goods then there's no help.

Local brands are even providing updates, so not behind in customer care. My 1 year old Canvas A110 came with Android ICS, later updated to JB 4.1.2, and is running smooth and flawless. Heck, reports even say that it's slated to receive 4.4KK at some point :)

What happened to your beloved Motorola? It was nearly dead until Google bought it. Now it's not the same ages old Moto, but it's Google, which is a much newer company.

Also, MMX isn't bad at all. Actually their phones are quite good. Screen, battery and all. You might find some users complaining but most defects are manufacturing, out-of-the-box defects. One should get it replaced fast, instead they keep whining. MMX service centers are now much faster compared to past and I had good experience there. I'm having 2 mmx phones are never had any problem since more than an year. (Only problem was that SIM card trapped inside, but that was my fault).
