Its up to the manufacturers to customize their phones. But I have to agree. Microsoft messed up the O/S design between WM5 and WM6 and WM6.1 should have come with improved UI. Hopefully WM6.5 does that. That said, most WM users don't look at fancy out of the box UI. They look at what WM can offer. Besides, there's countless of programs out there that does everything from emulating Iphone, HTC Touch Flo hacks, SPB's UI, etc. So make your pick. Customize till your hearts content! That's Windows Mobile.

So there's more choices. Don't like this Toshiba monster? Wait for a sure to be released HTC monster. But Iphone? What's Apple going to do next. Iphone Max? Then Iphone SuperMax? Even then its just one phone this year, one phone next. Iphone's a one shot wonder phone. With everyone including Nokia getting into the touchscreen bandwagon it's a matter of time before the multi-touch gets superseded. So yeah Windows Mobile looks promising once again. If the specs are an indication of what to expect from Windows Mobile, I bet WM7 is going to rock.

Well I don't really know which planet you've been living in but USB has been around for a long time. And Wi-Fi development has been around for a long time..... Also Iphone isn't the first with anything other than the multi-touch thing. Nokia's been on the scene with top end phones for way longer... So while I recognize the Iphone's touch interface, I don't think they've been "first" in any other things...

You know what's the best thing about this monster? Its definitely Windows Mobile 7 ready. Rejoice! Is this the first of next gen hardware designed for Windows Mobile 7? Now let's just hope Windows Mobile 6.5 will make use of such hardware.

What did you expect? Mac OS on Toshiba hardware???
These Apple fanboys are the ones who really need to wake up. The iphone bubble won't last forever. And whether you like it or not, in USA but especially in the rest of the world, Apple is still a minority.
