512 RAM ?
With Android on board ????
Will crash !
I remeber when i bought my first droid phone ... in 2010, HTC Dezire Z (with Querty keyboard), and with 768 RAM.....ONLY with the on board apps the system was soooo slow, lagg a LOT !.
After i installed just few apps...the nightmare came !
Restart every day ....
I still have that phone.
Even my last Sony Xperia with 2 RAM from 2013 still lag and block ... Galaxy Note 2 ...SAME ! (not to speak about viruses) ...

as moto G is now in hands of lenovo and not from 'A Google Company', i've laid it off.

I'm not sure why the still make phones with less than 1GB ram. It surely can't be much cheaper to build them.

I don't know if there is any point of telling people to stop complaining about specs, i think what happens here is that everyone tries to shout louder than everyone, or to say the meanest or the most clever thing, they don't read other comments to have a smart discussion but to have more chance to shout louder, or to ridicule other people choices!
Anyway, i'm waiting for this phone, i like small simple phones, i just wish someone will make one with the best camera, but that will never happen.

What do you expect from a LOW END budget phone? 720p displays? Quadcore processors? This product will be in price lines of Asha, and just a reminder, Nokia can't make smartphones anymore until their contract ends with microsoft. Stop complaining about the specs, if you dont want it, dont buy it. This phone is for emerging markets.

80% of people just don't care.
They only care that it is cheap.
Android is cheap:
- even if sub 300$ android phones lag heavilly
- even if 99% viruses and other malware target Android (2013 official data from Cisco)
- even if the desktop user interface is just stupid on a small screen
- even if google reads every of your emails and does not respect your privacy rights and shows you their own products in the results as the first
people just dont't care
They only start to care when they get a 1000$ bill for expensive sms they never sent. But hey, than it is to late.
They should have spent these 1000 bucks for a Nokia Lumia 1520 or an iPhone 5s instead ;-)
You can't expect the masses to have any intelligence.

Well it's just nokia's entry model. I'm glad to see nokia's effort on trying android. I'm assuming that this device will have complimentary useful apps made by nokia... Cheers!

Android su.cks anyway. No idea why do Nokia bother making this one. It will just show how Google's OS just doesn't work on sub-$300 hardware specs.
