Im from the philippines. After updating my note 3 to this buggy kitkat. Going to the home screen isnt possible anymore. How to fix this. Very frustrating night!

as far as i know the upday is only for n9005.i did not upday yet .be sure before upday ur phone as maybe is not for that model

Its available on Indonesia, but i hvn't download it yet, afraid to my 3rd party sview cover, and it will not wake up in kitkat when you press the bottom button

I'm having the same problem here too. I just bought Note 3 9000 today, and from the first time i started, i felt it is hanging and even if i press the home button it is not responding; moreover i observed the second half of screen was not reading my finger movement or even touch, though it was working with the stick pen. Have to goto the service center tomorrow to get all this fixed.
I'm suspecting this can be KITKAT problem but as it is working fine with other devices (i believe going through different threads except for S-view problem) else it must be hardware problem for sure.
Going to the service center the next day buying note 3....how atrocious!!!

Hi Sir! Didn't seem to get it, my S-View casing functionalities seemed to have stopped after being upgraded to 4.4.2..

THis upgrade has been a nightmare so far. THe phone does not recover from sleep apparently once the S view cover is taken off. Even if I press the bottom button 10 times, it doesn't wake up. Not sure why Samsung decided to make so many changes to a great OS which was running so smoothly. Also not sure what this new update that has been promised will change. Will it make these problems go away and will the phone behave the way it was earlier?
