And if we go even further back, 1gb of ram was more than you could dream of. Battery eaters, yes definitely, but do remember that it packs a whopping 3000mAh battery. Thats bigger than any phone of the other OEM's flagshipphones. Not even the all new htc one, has been rumored with a bigger battery.
Lacks in the cam department... what the hell are you talking about. It has the next best camera sensor on the mobile market. It has 13mp back and 5mp front. It can record 4k, merge 10 images into a 50mp photo, record slowmotion at 120 fps. And how could you possibly know all the camera features that it has?
You are forgetting the purpose of this phone. Oppos hashtag for the Oppo find 7 is #RaiseTheBar. It's a phone wich purpose is, to push the boundaries of what we think a smartphone specsheet should look like. Raising the bar.
You talk(write) like you are against innovation and progress.
This is the greatest progress in the smartphone industry since the HTC One.

the phone will run with atrocious frame rates in gaming or even web browsing...though cpu may handle some part of it but the gpu actually is the main component that takes care of the frames...tgey would need one HELL of a GPU...to keep up the frame rates...

Are more ergonomic, easier to use, and more flexible IE even if they made an aluminum phone or Amoled water proof phone...You still have removable back and sd. Because they are awesome like that...And still look nice...Just not astounding.

There is no need of Qhd display and 3gb ram... Both are battery eater... 2gb ram and fhd is enough for everything.. It also lacks in cam depart. And in features which are available only in s5... Galaxy s5 is more mature device

What a monster, I would like to see what is the battery life for this monster...if it can power up a day with normal usage...I will grab one...=)
