Fed up with the whole thing.
My first PDA type phone was a custom windows phone made by HTC for the UK network O2 many years before there was an iPhone. It was Rectangular with Rounded Corners, Touch Screen (tho it helped to use a fingernail, but only because capacitative screens were not available) and could be customised to slide to unlock with an app.
These patent disputes should be forcibly ended. If the courts simply levied the entire sought damages as a fee if the case fell through or was found spurious, it would all be over pretty damn quick.

phones, cars, planes, and so on evolved towards future technology....in an open market it is the way to change and enhance in every way.....so apple pls stop being childish....

Apple just copied a lot of Patents patch then a bit and made it a patent like the patent troll apple.
plus patent square with round corners are just plain stupid
which result that US patent office are more stupid to allow it..
but US are covering the ASS of US companies..
Apple is poor loser company , instand of imporving their phones they sue the competition that kicked their ass in their own market.

If "slide to unlock" is such a remedial feature, why has Samsung, along with countless other companies blatantly copied it? Why haven't Samsung come up with an even better and more genius approach?
It's okay... Some of you simply do not understand how patents & intellectual property rights work in the United States.

suing slide to unlock is like suing pull to open a door, how can the courts even permit such a ridiculous thing? i truly wish with all my heart that one day every company will sue apple for everything they got until they go into bankruptcy. leaving aside the fact that their prices are unreasonably high, this is another reason for which i would never buy an apple product. BMW has rear wheel drive, they should sue everyone else who makes cars with rear wheel drive. With apples mentality sue this sue that, there would be no innovation in this world, we would all still use crt displays

Apple is going down, down and down. This is grabbing at straws. Won't deter other manufacturers from selling Android phones. Only Americans will continue buying overpriced Apple products.
