But I still believe that "there's always someone better than you." That goes to all of us... In the end, it all comes down on how we use/need it, PREFERENCES.

From Wikipedia about AMOLED: "The organic materials used in AMOLED displays are very prone to degradation over a relatively short period of time, resulting in color shifts as one color fades faster than another, image persistence, or burn-in."
S4 had lots of problem at launch, the GUI was really laggy, the amount of defective batteries must be around 50% of all shipped items and other hardware problems like smearing etc. The S3 launched with 1GB RAM which was too little even for the TouchWiz GUI, etc...
For you the camera is important, for someone else loud sound (which the S5 doesn't have) is more important. So you can't say what is "best" for all people. And like I wrote above, Samsung phones has had plenty of hardware and software problems.

I know there are devices with similar performances, though the camera is really much better on Samsung flagships compared to other Android flagships.
I've never once experienced AMOLED burn-in, and I've had a few S devices already (and my wife still has a S3 with no issue either).
The AMOLED screen does look better than LCD ones imho though :)

If you buy iphone you waist big money , if you buy Samsung you waist small money and if you buy huawei, lenovo etc you waist nothing. Apple sales chesp phone( $199 for 5s ), in market the price is more than 5 times of actual cost. Samsung galaxy s5 actual cost is $250 but price is still much more in the market. But chinese companies are selling their products in close to actual prices. Those cost above mentioned are bill of materials and assemble cost but why so expensive in the market? Because of profit , advertising cost , research and development , patent , staff and shop rent etc and rest half money is for testing how fool you are.

The cheaper Samsung phones have bad SoCs, bad screens with bad viewing angles and too little RAM. If you buy Huawei or Lenovo for the same money you get much better phones.

Hell, Apple should sue Samsung for stealing their marketing techniques, more than anything...

Please give us examples of phones that are much better than the S5 and the Note 3, along with the reasons they are, because in my opinion, there really aren't any.. though some are pretty close, or could be better for some people depending on priorities.

I bought two A850s for relatives and they work fine and they were exceptional value for money compared to other brands (Here in Europe all phones with 5,5" screens are very expensive).
