Apple operates on profits, and don't care about market share, so not a cause of concern for them.
Samsung operates like the other operators, so losing market share is bad news.

nokia should continue to developing new feature phones. demand always there! some more feature phone sales are guarantor for nokia mobile phone sales while sales of Lumia is not so good!

My Auntie have a lenovo tab (IdeaTab A2107) and it ... moreYou can buy a high end samsung tablet and you get the same crap, Android tablets generally arent useable for anything, which is why people in the more mature of the socalled "emerging markets" like Philippines are buying iPads, the old iPad Mini doesnt have great specs but its a cheap and superior tablet, great for low cost countries at only $299 and the iPad 2 was a big success as well.
Android tablets are for those who heard that tablets are supposed to be the new big thing but they have no idea what to expect, they just want to buy one and dont care much after that. A friend got a cheap 7 inch Android tablet from her suitor, the first few days she would visit us frequently to use our wifi to install apps and games but she soon gave up and havent used the thing since, exactly as what happened to our not-so-cheap Galaxy Tab 2 here. Simply useless, 100%, unless you really need a dust collector.

Anonymous, 30 Apr 2014Trust me, after u use other brand, u will still go back to ... moreBy the way, trust me, theres no chance of ever going back to Samsung even if they clean up their messy UI and gimmicks, the region lock makes sure that it will forever be impossible to own a samsung (since the unlock method provided by samsung is an arrogant lie that doesnt work) and more region locks are being added quietly through software updates in the time to come.

Lenovo phones arent very good, as many here said already. I seen some in SE Asia and they are overprized, the vendors are trying to use Lenovos big name in laptops to sell substandard phones at high price. Lenovo is big in smartphones only because they sell very well in China but truth is that their smartphones are just as failed and poor as their laptops were before they bought the ThinkPad franchise from IBM. Those who have seen and used a pre-thinkpad Lenovo laptop will know what i mean, its really horrible.

Lots and lots of us did. And thats why we dont like them. My Note 2 was a poor excuse for a flagship, the socalled features were either impractical if working at all, the menus were a mess, way too many sub-items, and the S-apps is the most failed thing in the whole universe. And the feel of that plastic and ugly shape, just wow, combined with a display that was too dim to enjoy movies when in bright conditions, and pixels as big as small countries.
I also used S4 and the level of crap was higher (not a good thing in case you didnt know) but at least display was better (though not too bright still), and the perceived performance was pretty poor, i went back to my Xperia Z, not perfect also but much much better.
Since then i have left android and now use BB10 OS on phone and iOS on tablet, both are much better, not planning to look at android again before Z2 Compact is coming, and for sure i never look at android tablet again (had a samsung Tab 2 collecting dust for a whole year, useless pos, incredible how a dual core with 1GB can be so stuttering that its not even useable.)

Anonymous, 30 Apr 2014Overheating S4 caused this. It changed my mind about samsun... moreTrust me, after u use other brand, u will still go back to Samsung. TouchWiz is not so lagg as others claim. At least on S4(S800 LTE), Note3, S5 it work so smoothly. Read more review instead of basher comments. Those are just basher using Nokia, LG, Sony, HTC or other brand. Samsung produce very nice hardware (no one deny that). And I can tell u, overheat problem happen on my girlfriend iphone5s, my ex HTC One M7(trade in for S5), my Sony Xperia SL. There is no perfect phone. Don't be so naive.

lenovo? My Auntie have a lenovo tab (IdeaTab A2107) and it was so problematic tab we have use and own! she allways go to shop just to format it (even the recovery mode doesn't work [it's still lag even in that process]). I think it's not our misuse or something... but the tab itself! so buggy! so crushy! too laggy! so dumb tablet ever! when I try to brows (using the chrome) I experience a single lag every minute. then finally it was lag! (you need to wait till the battery got drain by itself to recover it again). really? I think she already spend a $100+ in total.
she regret buying that crap and never ever buy any devices again from lenovo, base on her experience...

Xiaomi is nt bad at all. But Lenovo, yes you will buy 1 and regret it forever. It will be your first and the last Lenovo.. cheap skate budget phone.. doesn't worth the price you pay at all.. my A850plus followed me 1 month and it's been send to repair twice.. now I wanted to trade in but no shop out there wanted to accept it.. all they said bout the brand is rubbish.. regret..
