Samsung and all others for you. Apple are the only ones who will keep supporting until they cant no longer. S3 should get KitKat without excuses.

Phew .. I hope I don't see such news for the Mega 6.3 as the mega has 1.5 gb ram it should get the kitkat update hopefully.

why can't they say the real reason? s3 mini could not get the update cause st-ericsson (novathor chipsets) went bankrupt and samsung couldn't acquire the drivers needed (so we are talking about 0 month support, a far cry from 18) and s3 won't get the update cause samsung itself doesn't care to develop the exynos drivers needed for the kitkat update. What's more both of them wouldn't get the update anyway cause they are still selling like hot cakes and take people away from the s4, s4 mini, s5.

Buy KitKat requires less RAM than it's predecessors, i.e. 4.3 Jelly Bean? Come on Samsung, I thought S3 users were going to get the update as well.
It's a shame to be honest, but the S3 has received a decent amount of updates to be fair.
