Sammy if you can't make good user interface then you should learn from HTC's Sense, Sony's Xperia or Google Stock Android or even Apple's iOS!

it's just samsung's BS. new motorola E has only 1GB or RAM and comes with kitkat as do plenty of other devices. S3 owners don't want to upgrade to s4 (the phone has lot's of overheating problems ) or S5 ( wtf do i need a heart rate monitor or a finger scaner ) so now they figured they would force them to upgrade bcz of kitkat.

Again Samsung is showing its class. If moto G with a dualcore proc and 1gb ram can run kitkat then why not s3? Apple iPhone 4 with 800mgz SINGLE CORE cpu and 512mb ram is getting latest iOS 7.1.1 update. Shame on you Sammy.

Samsung employ people to read all these posts on forums and will soon realise that their announcement NOT to update the S3 to KK is a PR disaster. I wouldn't be surprised to see a future statement from them announcing that they are 'Now able to release KitKat OS on the Galaxy S3 model'.

This is pathetic news considering s3 is the main reason for samsung's success in the mobile industry.It was a stepping stone which looks like it will be buried soon and forgotten.
They should re-consider their strategy.
Alot of customers will be disgruntled.

needing minimum RAM of 512 .
I have had 5 Samsung devices and am getting more and more disappointed... more and more people are leaving Samsung due to bloatware etc . Seriously Samsung , what gives ?

As much as I loved S3, I wont EVER buy any Samsung product again. Ill also make sure that no one around me ever does as well.
Samsung.... you will be another Nokia very soon!

Go to samsung site and report to customer care service and Email to CEO that is given contact us region.U samsung disappointed about 4.4 update,what all the cons u wish write to them,and we r moving out of samsung.Then only they know about the value of customers and respond to us,consider of 4.4 update and people eager for that update and disappointed.They r thinking if u stop update s3 to 4.4 their customers will move to s5.No way,bye bye samsung.
