Upgrading my ZL to kitkat 4.4.2, here in the UAE. Its really good.
A tip to all xperia users who upgrade to 4.4 from 4.3 - When you upgrade from 4.3 to 4.4, you will feel that you phone responds a bit slower, apps work slower, sluggish etc... this is normal to happen as the software update files get overwritten/flashed on to the existing OS. To normalize and feel the best experience of your latest software, give a factory reset( entire phone includong the internal memory and SD card) to your phone.Your phone will perform like the way it used to when it was brand new. (Dont forget to back up your contacts and necessary data from your phone)

To all those using zl zr z, if you feel that phone is bit slow or lags unistall and disable Google Chrome. And install chrome beta instead. I have tried and tested it on the three phone and each of them has become more responsive. I’m not sure of other phones.hope to hace helped :-)

Is SONY wish to make angry their customer for not making arrangement for updating xperia ZR to kitkat ?
Hopefully such a big brand can nor afford it , if intended then who will go for SONY products & definitely one day the brand will be history for not taking care of their customers

I saw new google play store update in nexus .... Til this time sony was waiting to update store to solve the battery bug with the store.. KitKat update have . now there's a chance to get kikat update official through the updater on coming week months maybe year . i don't know actually ...I just said my suggestion tats all :p

after the 0.2 mb update... now camara shortcut on lock screen is removed... any one else have like this..

Don't think the kitkat update is available for my Xperia z in Ghana. Sony do and get us update.

Then place the downloaded ftf in flashtool/firmwares folder. Then open flashtool.exe and connect phone to pc and click on the flash button in flashtool then choose fastboot and choose the ftf file and follow instructions. Done.

Hi guys did anyone find the issue with video recording,as i am facing major issue,if i record any video i am not getting audio sound for that video,so pls let me know ur comments on this.

Camera clarity has gone very bad. Mostly grainy pictures in any mode after kk update. So rolled back to 4.2 jb yesterday. Camera is better than kk. Let's wait for the fix from Sony. 13mp camera seems like 2mp camera in normal phones. Even my HTC wildfire s which has 5mp takes better shot than this. Sony has to fix this serious issue.
