My decision to buy S5 Prime has been delayed as I want to see what iPhone 6 can offer. I am an eye candy person. S5 is ugly. Hope S5 Prime is pretty. If not, I will buy iPhone 6 to replace my S4

No matter if you have 10000000 cores or 10000000 rams or 1000000 mah battery it matters not. because in the eyes of everyone, smoothness and performance and quality of apps of iPhone have never being challenged before.

BLEH, 07 Jun 2014Not really wealthy, but I need phones for testing purposes ... moreYeah I agree, Samsung are great phones but I don't really like touchwiz, i prefer Sonys UI and yes the Xperia feel more premium over the Samsung and the iphone.

Samsung Galaxy design/Specs well improved from S4 to S5. iPhone from 5 to 5S design/Specs are also improved.
About iPhone 6 will be big changes but in 1st quarter 2015 SGS6 will also big changes. In between iPhone 6 this year people are waiting Tizen OS phone. So Samsung Tizen OS demand will be there too.

The Samsung ... moreI agree. I own a samsung galaxy s4 but I hate its design the most in the smartphine world. I would have bought the Xperia if only it would have had a smaller footprint and.... an AMOLED screen.
Although I hate samsung's design, amoled is the deelbreaker for me.
Hell, maybe I'll go with whatever google releases as tgeir new nexus. I care about fast updates.
Unfortunately... there is no perfect phone...

Yes, the iPhone 5 definitely takes better balanced images than the Samsung S5, if you bother to examine them on a large monitor. Samsung achieves its contrast by limiting the dynamic range, destroying information in very bright and very dark areas of the image in the process. The iPhone has lower resolution, but it balances the image better.
I did not get the iPhone 5S this time, because I wanted a larger screen. I tried the Galaxy because the saleswoman really pushed it and I knew I can return it if I didn't like it. Which is what I did and got the Xperia instead.
The Xperia is definitely a better phone than the Samsung, I don't know why anyone who has held both would ever buy the Samsung.

They are basically identical -with only minor differences- and need to be updated almost as soon as they appear in the market to keep the herd gasping for more, better, the best
...As a matter of fact, the best is a highly personal experience based on individual needs. Without knowing those needs makes for poor decision making

Iphone sales go down as well,,who will buy 5s when the new one is only few months away...
I like Samsung but i returned my S5 did not like it and they changed the music player again.I think more folk have strayed this time from Samsung to other companys plus the Moto g and low end smartphones have took off..the moto G can do everything even good enough photos for Facebook so why shell out loads of money..
As someone said ealier the market is saturated and some may have held off S5 in case they brought out a metal version.

I waited to see what the Z1C was like in the hand before deciding whether to keep waiting for the i6 or buy the Sony. People do hold out for what they want. I'm not loyal to either OS and was using a Windows Phone before purchasing the Sony. With the i6 increased screen size, there won't be a lot of difference between phones anyone.
