iOS 8 will bring great apps, nothing more, nothing less. Download if you want, ignore if you do not want.
Thats true freedom! Unlike Google.. everything you need Google + now.. even SMS.. some apps will stop working if you do not have google services.

wow lol, 19 Jun 2014so what are these strenghts of ios that , since you dont ch... moreiOS better apps IMO.. Their strength is in ease to develop and release reliable apps. All android versions are lousier clone of the iOS versions.
And
Android excel at local storage media consumption which has limited storage (most 32+128). While iOS excel at streaming consumption.
There is an iOS app that is called StreamToMe.. that one is preventing me to move to android.
Even the SplashTop iOS version is so much better then Android version.. it support audio background playback.

Similarly, iOS has its limitations and strengths, but I prefer it because the strengths suit me very well, and live with the limitations.

It allows more or less the freedom i would expect from a mobile device and that is something that IOS and windows or infact blackberry simply do not offer.
If i spend around 5 - £600 on a device then I want to be in control not some bloody corporation on the other side of the planet, apple will never change these policies so hand in hand with my decision to never have an apple product, primarily for those reasons.
Android which is far from perfect is simply the best option there if for people who don't like being told what to do or what they can or can't do with their devices.
Originally the meaning for IOS users being called sheep wasn't because they were blindly following a company that gives so little in a pretty box but it was because of how easy it was for apple to do that to them, and they will continue to lap it up for extortionate prices year in year out.
Personally I like doing what I want, not what someone tells me to do, that's not bashing that my personal preference, if you don't like it then maybe then that's you who's doing the overly defensive moves and not people who use android.
