I donno xactly at what point the restart problem in my phone started.... but it restarts 3 to 4 times a day
I did a factory reset but the problem still persists.
The screen gets blue...and it restarts
its sick x(
Any suggestions????

AnonD-295535, 17 Aug 2014Hey Guys, I need a suggestion regarding Galaxy Grand 2 Andr... moreits really up to you, just bought grand 2 this sunday and researched first if i would upgrade it or not, its a make or break decision, if i would stay with 4.3 JB, there are some apps that would not run because a system upgrade is needed, but if i would upgrade to 4.4.2 kitkat chances are, i might get the same issues most people are ranting about. But then I realized since its a new phone and i havent put any data in it yet, i can still do a factory reset without doing any back up or as a last resort, bring it back to samsung while the 7 days replacement is still intact. So i did the upgrade this morning, and as expected I found some issues like the black lockscreen, some few lags...but thankfully i did not get the restart issue every 2 mins. The black lockscreen is only happening if you are using the swipe lock, but if you are using other methods like pin or pattern, you'll not experience it. The lags? hmm its pretty much containable, probably just have to wait for the next system update. FYI, I am still observing the phone...so its really up to you if you would update or not...but i would suggest to update it because you would not want your phone running on an old OS. ~ hope it helps.~

You should update your phone.. don't listen to those people telling not to. I don't face any problem since I updated my CP.

After last update my galaxy grand 2 is over hitting. And some problems are not fixed still now. Hope samsung will fix these problems soon.

U have put ur cell in safe mode
Or u have first shutdown ur phone and the started again along with pressing volume down key..?

my phone is acting so weirdly after 4.4.2 update. my problems are
1. blank lockscreen for 1 sec.
2.automatically shifting my preferred voice call sim.
3if auto brightness is disabled brightness adjusting bar just disappears.
4. battery is draining so fast.
5. cant change lockscreen wallpaper when ripple effect is enabled.
6 . sometimes keypad wont write as if there is no ink in a pen.
7. some times while calling earpiece wont work. so i have restart my phone.

Kindly help me as my phone is behaving wierdly from past few days i am not able to use home screen button , because of that my touchwiz is not working and i am not able to use imp function call clear ram . So pleas if anyone has solution kindly reply on same.
