After reading all the bad reviews i still took a risk and updated my grand 2... And it is now working perfectly without any problem, speed is great..

After installing 4.4.2 my phone has become worst.....the gps is not working.......the device gets switched off automatically. .....pl resolve the issue. ....

Iv just update my samsung galaxy grand 2 last night. Updated with no problem, but soon problem shows thst my phone getting restart n restart within approx 2-2.5 minutes.

I live in cambodia.I have used galaxy grand 2 arount 3 months and it is very good device ; fast, big screen, and nothing seem to be awful. But I have to wait really long to kit kate 4.4.2 android version. But now I m downloading kit kate n waiting for something new within 4.4.2 version of android. It weighs approximately 389 MB

1. There was advice to WIPE CHACE PARTITION, I did that but problem persist.
2. So I follow my own instinct to to FACTORY RESET and the issue solved. WIFI is working again, button are working and its not restarting anymore.
Bear in mind, take 2 minutes or so to backup your data, I normally backup my SMS and whatsapp message, thats it, others are all in my Google account.
Do factory reset from safemode. while the phone is off, press vol (up) + menu + power, then select the task you desire.

My Samsung galaxy grand 2 just got an auto update to 4.4.2 and I accept the update to install, as usual, the installation going smooth however I am now having an issue with the phone, it keeps re-starting it self every 4 or 5 minutes, its really annoying after the updates. I am planing to re-flash manually to original image but willing to listen to this forums is there anything we can do to solve the issue.
The original image is JB 4.3

nazz, 11 Aug 20144.4.2 upgrade in PH screwed my phone. Anyone there who can ... moresame here. just upgraded my phone this morning and now it keeps on rebooting. Hard keys (volume and lock) don't work too. Soft keys don't have lights. don't know what to do. can't use my phone as it turns off every like 2 minutes.
