Regarding Kitkat update for Samsung Grand 2:
My device was also getting restarted after the update.
There are many option to resolve this issue.
In earlier posts, many other ways has been defined to resolve the issue.
May be those have worked for them but not for me.
What I have done.....
1. First switch off the device.
2. Then take out the sim cards and SD card.
3. The start the mobile without sim and sd card.
4. Let the mobile start and leave it for few minutes.(My mobile has not restarted during this phase)
4. Then switch off the mobile, get the sim cards and sd card on and start the mobile.
Hope the problem of restarting will finish.

Just factory reset the device after upgrading to kitkat then it will work normally with no bugs

Hi,
I just update android version in my galaxy grand 2 and it was behaving like unusual and also its volume and power buttons were not working but after restarting it by 2 3 times its now comes in normal behavior and I got updated android version(4.4.2).

Guys after upgrading to kitkat 4.4.2, im facing some issue like- downloading/updating apps from playstore, it will just stop and have to restart. Can someone tell my why and how to fix it

Through R&D and multiple reinstallations, I found that issues lies with that one hand operations settings. I simply decided not to use it, and now the phone works fine ... :)

People just wait for Android 4.4.3 official update, till then don't update. just carry forward with your jelly bean operating system.

Try booting in Safe mode

Then Leave in Safe mode for sometime and then Reboot to normal mode..
This was suggestion given. I am trying it out..
20 mins and no restart so far (in safe mode), also i got message device is updated.
So i assume i am good..

IF you enable one-handed operation> keypad in-call buttons then while calling or receiving calls it shows error: Unfortunately, com.android.phone has stopped & call ends.. by disabling one handed feature we can receive or make calls.
Kindly provide the solution on this!!

my galaxy grand 2 is just got kitkat 4.4.2 android verson. i have updated my phone to kitkat. after updating it my front camera is capturing image with more width. all looks fatty in front camera. its resolution is 1392x1392 as before. please any one help me...
